Intro and question

Hi all.

Firstly, thank you lax for the great program.
I have been multiboxing for a couple of years on various software, and I was surprised to see how versatile ISBoxer is. I'll definitely be going beyond my 7 day trial. (Slightly annoyed I didn't go ISBoxer off the bat)

On a small side question, I have done some searching, but I clearly just do not know how to search for the answer I need.

I setup my character sets. (multiple b.net accounts) all with either WoW1 or WoW2 selected accordingly, including my original account with my Warcraft name present.
It all works fine.

I didn't log in to 2 of the instances as the game time has run out *going on holidays, renewing mid January* I noticed though that after fiddling with things, the logins for the 2 windows I didn't log in with; had no username present.
Ok, thought nothing of it, did what I had to do, mouse broadcast to close down all instances of the game.

Went to log in later, and the 2 instances that I didn't log in with now have no log in name present, and upon typing them in manually, it simply won't remember the names.
I checked the character set settings for those 2 toons which are in those accounts, and it's showing the b.net account there with WoW1 or 2 present.
So, what am I missing, how can I get those 2 screen instances to have the b.net logins return and stay?

Cheers.

Re: Intro and question

You didn't mention whether or not you're checking the "Remember Account Name" box or not; but I'm not sure that checking the "Remember Account Name" box does anything when you can't log into an account.

You can always manually edit the config.wtf files for those characters. Just follow the same format as the ones that work correctly.

Re: Intro and question

Hi Mirai

I don't have that box checked, as the particular install of WoW is a cleaner version, with far less addons for boxing. No 1 account is ever logged in, as I have numerous on different b.net addresses.
Having said that, the other windows were perfectly fine, and still show the b.net account with which WoW instance.

You may be on to something in the fact I can't exactly log in to that account currently, so, I may simply have to wait for next year and try again.

Will check out the WTF files, see if anything is a-miss also.

Cheers
Also, cheers for the vids, they have been a great help!

That's exactly the point of Virtual Files. You check the "Remember Account Name" box (assuming you used the Quick Setup Wizard in ISBoxer) and your BNet account and sub-account names are always remembered.

Yes, you are 100% correct. I'm an idiot.
Was my lack of attention toward that part of the screen which made me think ISB/IS manually put them in everytime.
All sorted now.

Cheers for the help :D
