How do I minimize windows and save CPU usage?

Hi.

I'm running 4x diablo 3 clients in fullscreen windowed mode.

The problem is, that I can't minimize the clients. If I want to go into a folder in windows, then diablo keeps popping up..

My question is: Is it possible to minimize all the clients somehow, so they doesn't use CPU?

Well, you have two completely different questions here, one being about using other programs and one about not using CPU.

The trick with the windows coming back is that your Window Layout is configured to do things when you activate a window, and depending on how you minimize the game you may inadvertently activate one of the other instances. If you activate Explorer, e.g. by clicking on the taskbar, then you can click the show desktop button and it should not re-activate a game window.

As far as using no CPU, ISBoxer doesn't build anything in for that, sorry.

I have my window layout to "not always be on top". But when I click the show desktop button, it hides everything as it should. But if I then press firefox or something else, all the 4 diablo clients pops back up : /

Quite often Google chrome does this as well.
