I had similar issue last year-it turned out that a new build of Zonealarm was blocking Isboxer/Innerspace.
I added Innerspace.exe to the"white list" (or exceptions in some av programs) as well as a couple of other things to solve the issue.
There should be a way to add them to exceptions or white list in any anti virus program one may use.
