Re: Can you see which key maps are active?
e.g.
- Code:
.........<snip>
Keymapper: Importing key maps from 'ISBoxerToolkit.KeyMapperSettings.XML'
| 02:34:56 ISBoxer: Applying Character Set Key Maps
| 02:34:56 ISBoxer: Applying Key Map: 'Always On'
Keymapper: Loading key map 'Always On'
| 02:34:56 ISBoxer: Applying Key Map: 'Combat'
Keymapper: Loading key map 'Combat'
| 02:34:56 ISBoxer: Applying Key Map: 'Non-combat'
Keymapper: Loading key map 'Non-combat'
| 02:34:56 ISBoxer: Applying Key Map: 'Virtual'
Keymapper: Loading key map 'Virtual'
| 02:34:56 ISBoxer: Applying Key Map: 'ButtonActions'
Keymapper: Loading key map 'ButtonActions'
| 02:34:56 ISBoxer: Applying Character Key Maps
| 02:34:56 ISBoxer: Applying Key Map: 'One'
Keymapper: Loading key map 'One'
.........<snip>
/e You can also do a "Bind -list" in the console, which will give you every mapped key currently loaded for that character. This might be a large list depending on your setup.

Thanks.
I think I have to load all the key maps for both players. So it doesn't help to know what is loaded.
I have key maps assigned to character sets and I want to check that a character is actually only using the key maps assigned to him.

As for execution, this depends on the targets you set in the mapped keys. If you happen to be using virtualization (or pro-config), then is can be a little confusing as to who is doing what, but that again comes down to the targets. Essentially, start at the top, from the Hotkey, and then work your way down the target chain. Use paper if necessary. In a non-virtualized config, the usual issue that causes grief are mapped keys on the same hotkey, and accidental loading of Key Maps (usually via a disable/enable) using those cohabiting hotkeys - for this you end up needing to black/white list the key maps.
If you are having trouble reconciling it, you could of course post your profile, along with details of which character set, the hotkey you are having trouble with, and someone can look through it to see what the end result is, and why. A second pair of eyes may help.

That is what I do also. I was hoping there was a debug feature that would show what is happening when I press a keybind.

The profile is too large for pastebin.

That will help.
Is the following understand of keybinds correct? The R key is pressed. If ISB uses R as a keybind then ISB performs the associated actions and the R key is not sent to the game. If ISB does not use R as a keybind then the R key is sent to the game.

The more accurate response is: if the active slot has a loaded bind with R as a trigger, yes. This could be a mapped key or a menu hotkey set.

Try ybin.me instead.

I think this response was the key to figuring out what is going on but I only just realized that.
I thought the key maps listed for a character set acted as a filter. But it only seems to determine which key maps are initially loaded.
If you have different key maps assigned to various character sets, how do you make sure that the right key maps are turned on/off in Activate Maps?
