G510 Keys not listed...

Hi All,

I am new to ISBoxer. Long time player and multi-boxer first time ISBOXER. I can already see this software will change my multi-boxing life forever and am very excited to give it a go. To be cleaer I've been alt-tab multiboxing EQ1 5 accounts for some time now. So this will improve my experience immensely.

Anyhow, onto my first question and its a simple one:

I have a G510 keyboard. I followed the instructions here:
http://isboxer.com/wiki/Logitech_G-seri ... th_ISBoxer

-Removed all configured binds in logitech software, saved
- shutdown logitec software
- even rebooted

Still dont see any g-keys showing in my hotkey list.

Re: G510 Keys not listed...

I tend to continue to run the Logitech Gaming Software regardless. Mainly because I have G930 headphones, and a G9x mouse, that the extra buttons aren't detected on. To do so, the Logitech software needs to run as Admin. To this end I had to setup a scheduled task in Windows to launch the software at login, as admin, and disable the launch at startup option (actually I left this enabled and ended up disabling the running via AutoRuns).

Whether you want to run the software is up to you.

If the keyboard is not being detected, you can try closing Inner Space (right click the system tray icon, select Exit), deleting the InputDevices.xml file from the Inner Space install folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\InnerSpace), and then starting up Inner Space again. It will recreate the input devices file and hopefully detect your keyboard. If not, then you might want to try moving USB port, especially if your keyboard is in a separate hub.

In Isboxer, when you click on File-Edit Input Devices, you can select the keyboard? Mine looks like 046D-C22D G510 Gaming Keyboard (22-input)
If it's there do you see the Default Key Sets to the left?
Enter a name where it says New Key Set and click Add. Move all the keysets from the left to the right and click on Save and you should have them

Re: G510 Keys not listed...

There is one thing that I have discovered as I thought my inputs were removed, I say my G510 keys once but than they were gone from the drop down. I was able to replicate this and that is because when the check box for make this hotkey global (restricts usable key)

As the red highlighted part is the issue if you untick that box you very well may see your keys again.
