[WoW] Gain 8-10 fps on slaves

I use an add-on called Viewporter that changes the size of your view port. I have found it to help my slave’s fps when traveling thorough Darlan or manual flight travel.

That sounds like a great idea. I'll have to check that out.

Another tip for this thread, make sure to always keep the view on your slaves set to top-down. This minimizes the amount of rendering the game has to do (because it's just the ground and a few yards around you; this is much smaller than the usual view distance), keeping your FPS up. And as a helpful side effect, that also makes it extremely easy to do targeted AoEs.

It's possible to set it up to automatically set these when switching characters, by modifying the Mapped Key that ISBoxer is set up to do when you switch. You can add it so the master will undo whatever you do to the slaves just by editing the existing macro set up by that key. Then have it send a different key (or WoW Macro Action) to "All w/o Current" to lower the viewport, or set the top-down view, etc.
