Trying to change per-character virtualizations
Could I get clarification on this (if it is possible). I am attempting to do this with a "Mapped Key Virtualization Action" in a similar way as is done when a character slot loads.
When performing this Mapped Key via Do Mapped Key Action or a Click Bar...
110 - CHARACTER TEMPLATE Key Map
Do this Mapped Key instead
110: Fred Key Map
I may be way off base, but I hope not. Please note that a lot of targetting/following/etc is not setup for all characters. For the mapping tests, just the first three slots are setup.
For example, Lorim is the character that initially loads into slot 1, and Hastor shares that slot. There is a 'Hello Test' which fires off a character-virtualized key that creates popup text with the character's name.
I correctly get the initial character's names. When I bring up the clickbar (Focus) and right-click on Hastor's name I see popup text indicating that the remapping should have been done.
This would be in "110 - Hastor-1", key: Reload. But the 'Hello' button still gives the old text.
I went a step further and explictly mapped a single key for Mariposa/Skippy. No dice here. (Edit: that would occur in the Focus click bar, the button labeled Skippy). The popup associated with the remap appears. The hello key retains its original mapping.
The click-bar button sends the key to self, but the virtualized button under 110 directs it to a single slot.
Am I performing this via Do Mapped Key Action? Under the G15 menu is G510 Setup, Button 5. This fires off a mapped key action for "110 - CHARACTER TEMPLATE" key: Hello.
Now I don't want to remap individual keys, I want to remap an entire key map. I assume this would work. But even a single key remap is not working they way I feel it should.
The full config is too large for most sites https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxQSoebQcjfLMzlHSmlpdU5TNWM/view?usp=sharing
