Mapped Key Target Question

Created Mapped Keys which have my pet classes handle adds by off tanking. Originally had the key set up to target - character name (server). This did not work. When I changed it target - character slot # the mapped key worked perfectly. The problem is if I change my team composition or order the mapped key will obviously no longer work. The flexibility of sending it to specific characters seems far preferable. What would be the likely issues causing my original target - Character (server) to not work?

I'm not familiar with the game or how it plays, but looking at your profile it seems you shared the version of it that works? I may be wrong about the profile, but if not, we' might need to see a version of it that isn't working.

I could be wrong (usually am), but I've found that targets with parenthesis generally mean special things. Not sure whether that translates to a potential issue when using a specific character name, but you never know. If it was to be an issue, it would be because the grouping effect of the parenthesis meant that the resultant Target after processing would be "character name server", and not "character name (server)".

Thanks for the responses. Bob you seem to have fixed the problem. I still need to go somewhere where I can safely double pull to test the pet tanks and mez but the healing is working with character name. (ISBoxer itself had initially generated the (server) addition to the game - but I was able to rename them without the server).

This will make creating multiple character groupings much easier!
