WoW Keymaps Issue

In game I have my key bindings set to activate BottomLeftActionBar buttons 1 through = by pressing Shift+1, Shift+2, etc. This is the secondary action bar directly above the main action bar.

I am trying to create a keymap that will send Shift+1, Shift+2, etc. to all windows when I press the respective key. I have followed the Mapped Key video and used the Mapped Key Wizard, but I must have done something wrong. When I press Shift+1 it works as normal in my main screen, but nothing happens on my second screen.

I initially tried creating the keymap under WoW-Always On, which didn't work. I then deleted the keymaps I created and then created them anew under WoW-Combat since the action bars are primarily used for combat, but this also did not work. Same issue for both-- works for main screen, but nothing happens on second screen.

I also tried manually creating a WoW-Non-combat keymap for my Mount, which in game is activated by Numpad -. This also does nothing on the second screen.

My toolkit profile is pasted at http://www.privatepaste.com/ef1c1ee5ef. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Re: WoW Keymaps Issue

I initially tried creating the keymap under WoW-Always On

It's called Always On because you can't toggle those Hotkeys off. Never put combat hotkeys like these under Always On, or you wont be able to disable the broadcasting functionality in order to use those keys for typing in the chat box, etc.

I think what you're missing here is that you have different teams using the different sets of Key Maps. If you're not playing the team "WoW Monks" then the ones prefixed with "WoW-" do nothing. I must assume you're trying to work with "WoW Hunters" which uses the ones that are not prefixed. When you select a Key Map in the top left pane, look in the bottom left pane under "Character Sets" and you'll see which ones use it.

The reason there's 2 different sets of Key Maps is because when you ran the wizard for the Monks, you selected different settings during the wizard, that were incompatible with the non-prefixed Key Maps. So it made a different set and prefixed it with "WoW-" just for your "WoW Monks" team.

Re: WoW Keymaps Issue

Awesome, thanks! So all I have to do is:

1. Open the keymap I want to use, in this case WoW-Combat, from the upper left pane.
2. Drag & drop the Character Set I want from the upper left pane down to the Character Set listing in the lower left pane.
3. Repeat for my WoW-Non-combat keymaps.

Correct?
