Assist+ Keybinds Not Working

Hello,

After not boxing in awhile, I updated the software and started up a character set. After discovering that there appeared to be some errors with assists I decided to just do a clean install of the program and go from there. That did not fix the problem. After redoing all of my settings I cannot get any character to assist another with the Assist+Keybind keybinds created through the Mapped Key Wizard. This is after using the Quick Setup Wizard. In an attempt to solve the issue I have tried the following:

-Change the default hotkey (changed back to default after).
-Disable all other wow addons to prevent possible conflict.
-Made sure that there were no other things using the default alt+A keybind elsewhere in wow.
-Made sure that all characters were set up to load macros.
-Confirmed that each character had loaded up the macros in the text that appears on login.
-Plus more.

From what I can tell everything should be working fine. Anyone got any ideas? You can find my setup here: http://www.privatepaste.com/44988b02e6

Thanks.

Re: Assist+ Keybinds Not Working

This might be a dumb question, but are Key Maps enabled?

If they are, then have you checked to see if you have stuff bound to modifer+Backspace? Assist, in game, doesn't operate off of the Hotkey set for the Mapped Key under Non-Combat, it operates off of the macro found under the Game Helper section. What that means is it uses modifiers keys paired up with Backspace in order to execute the assist macro.

From the Follow section of the WoW Quicker Start Guide on the Wiki:
If certain toons will not follow certain other toons, and the ISBoxer Addon is enabled, it is usually due to a key binding in the game set to use Shift+F11, Ctrl+F11, Alt+F11, Ctrl+Shift+F11. You can go into the game's Key Bindings screen, and find a key binding that is not configured -- a blank box. Any of them will do. Set it to Shift+F11, then Ctrl+F11, then Alt+F11, then Ctrl+Shift+F11, and then unbind it. This will clear out any keys that would interfere with auto-following up to 5 toons.

Do the same thing as the above quote states, but replace F11 with Backspace. If you don't want to do all of that, then you can just reset your key bindings on each character back to their default state which would clear anything bound to Backspace.

Re: Assist+ Keybinds Not Working

Yes, they were enabled :)

I did not check for Backspace binds, just Alt+A. When through on all toons and found some binds on Backspace modifiers that I don't even know what they were. That seemed to do the trick though!

Thanks for the quick reply.
