focus in windows?

All right, so I'm currently triple boxing, and right now pretty much every spell I have includes the macro line /follow focus. This of course allows me to pretty much never break follow as long as I'm casting spells, particularly channeled spells, while being easy to switch around.

But my question is, is there a way to make it so that the focus of each character automatically switches to the window I'm currently controlling? I just barely starting triple boxing a 90 priest, hunter, and warlock, and if I could switch from the priest to the warlock without having to refocus everything each time, it would make this combo TREMENDOUSLY easier.

Thanks in advance!

Re: focus in windows?

What I would do is add a "Do Mapped Key Action" that does "Follow Me" (in Non-combat Key Map) to your ISBoxer Mapped Key that is doing your spells you want to have this capability, instead of setting it up via /follow focus in the game.

But yes, since you already have that set up, it is possible to configure it to /focus the active window.

First, you will need to set a Key Combination for "/focus {FTL}" in the "Quick Setup 41" WoW Macro Set. To do that, expand Game Helpers in the top left and select World of Warcraft. Then in the bottom left, under the Quick Setup 41 WoW Macro Set, select "/focus {FTL}". The Key Combination in the bottom right is blank by default. To do this, you will need a key that is not used for any other things even with modifiers (shift/alt/ctrl) because it will automatically add in extra modifiers depending on the active window. F10 would work for example, but you cannot use Shift+F10 or Alt+F10 or Ctrl+F10 or Shift+Ctrl+F10 or Alt+Ctrl+F10, etc. You also cannot use any of the number pad keys, because Shfit is not valid on numpad keys and it is needed. So, set a Key that isn't used.

Then I would add a Named WoW Macro Action to the "JambaMaster" Mapped Key under "Always On". This Mapped Key executes by default by each Slot (game instance) when you switch to it, so unless you've changed that setting, this will make it happen. So in the top left pane under Key Maps select "Always On". Then in the bottom left pane expand JambaMaster and select Step 1. In the bottom right, right click Actions and under Keystroke Actions, select "New Named World of Warcraft Macro Action". Set the Target to "Window:All w/ Current", check the "+ Slot ID" box, and set the WoW Macro to "/focus {FTL}" in the Quick Setup 41 WoW Macro Set. Do not check any of the "Add optional modifiers" boxes -- if you wanted to /focus a specific player by using the magical combination of modifiers, you would use those instead of the + Slot ID box.

Export to Inner Space and that's it :)
