Problems w/ Key Mapping EQ1

So I had previously used this program, which is awesome by the way, with EQ2 and did not have any problems setting up key mapping for my Logitech G15 keyboard after I learned how. Here I am a couple years later and have gone back to EQ1, and haven't used this program in awhile. If it matters I am playing on the test server. Basically I *think* I have things set up right, but when I save then export to Innerspace I push my G1 key and nothing happens in game.

I have a macro set to my bard, which is in slot 2, to play a /melody and I'm trying to hit G1 to start the melody. I've tried both ways of having Target being CharacterSlot:2 and his specific name - I've also tried using a different key other than a G# key, but I had no problems using G# keys in EQ2 and it appears that IsBoxer is recognizing them in it's program.

I'd eventually like to make many more macro's and key maps, but if I could get help with something as basic as this the rest seems pretty self explanatory to me since I'm not trying to do anything super fancy.

Here's a privatepaste of my set up, I looked at it on there and it may as well be in German haha

I tried the map keyed wizard as well with no luck. I also ensured my G# keys are not assigned to anything in the Logitech software and attempted the open and ctrl alt del version of closing that software as another user suggested. Basically I've tried everything, I hope, that I can see on the surface and am out of idea's.

Any help is appreciated - I'm sure it's something very simple I'm missing! :)

Re: Problems w/ Key Mapping EQ1

Actually the reason it does nothing is because you chose to put it in a Key Map that is not assigned to your Character Set. :)

The "General" Key Map (along with "Control" and "FTL DPS Keys") are from a previous World of Warcraft configuration you made. You can delete these 3 Key Maps as they serve no purpose in your current configuration. And then put your Mapped Key with G1 in one of the 3 remaining Key Maps, which are all assigned to your Character Set. It doesn't matter which one because you've removed the other contents from the Key Maps, so the original behaviors and reasons for choosing one over the other are irrelevant.

TL;DR: Move "Bard Combat Songs" from General to the Non-combat Key Map and Export

Enjoy :)

Re: Problems w/ Key Mapping EQ1

So I finally figured it out... and I told you it was something simple!

When I had created my key maps, I had not drug down my Character Set to assign those keys to.

All is working now!

Thanks for the help :)
