[WoW] no matter what I do, I may not make hotkeys

no matter what I do, I may not make hotkeys which are not standard.
every time I make a new one.
nothing happens. when I press the button.
I'm new. and spent several hours looking at this program

I would like to use Ctrol 1-12 Shift 1-12 Ctrol+shift 1-12
I copied the existing button and flagging Ctrol. but it does not work

have tried with num 1-9 F1-12
but the only thing that has happened.
is that key does not work at all.

Without seeing your configuration I couldn't tell you what you did wrong. See http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=13 for how to share your configuration (it will censor your account information for you if you use the provided method of doing so)

Try this:

Left click on Keymaps in the top pane to expand it.
Left click on General Keymaps (top pane) to select it.
Right click on Mapped Keys (bottom left pane), and choose New Mapped Key.
Give it a name, anything at all.
Pick a hotkey, like Control F1.
Click the 1, under steps (left pane).
Right click on Actions (right pane) and choose Keystroke Actions > New Keystroke Action.
Select - Target: All Windows
For the keybinding, choose Control F1.
In the File Menu, export to Inner Space.

Then in wow, put something on Control F1.
See if Control F1 will do the wow macro.

I have a lot of mapped key options in my guide.
