Custom hotkeys with different character sets.

Hello,

This is my first time running into this issue and am looking for guidance on how to correct it. I have two sets of five characters in WoW a team of Warlock and Hunters.

On my Warlocks I have a custom hotkey that's for "broadcast and click" (for AoE spells) that is configured to shift + 1/2. This works without issue.

However, on my Hunters in game they have Murder of Crows and Misdirect bound to those same keys (Shift + 1/2) so when I use them I get the mouse icon on those windows as if its wanting me to click.

My question is, can I have a custom hotkey JUST for my Warlocks or any other character set?

Thanks for reading.

Re: Custom hotkeys with different character sets.

There are a a number of ways to resolve this.
The "easiest", is probably going to be a multi step process, as follows.

1. Create 2 Key Maps, one for your Hunters and one for your Warlocks.
2. Put your mapped keys for each team in those key maps
3. Update the Key Map toggle so you can turn these on and off.
4. Assign those key maps to the appropriate team (this is not strictly necessary if the first thing you normally do is toggle Key Maps off, but it does make it consistent)
5. On each character set, use the whitelist/blacklist option to make sure they don't load the other teams Key Map.

Note the opposites here. Warriors want to Blacklist Hunters. Hunters will Blacklist Warriors.
