Face Toward Target WoW

I'v been messing with Interact with Target and Face Toward Target. I see that Face Toward Target calls Interact with target but just adds a move back command.

In wow when you do Interact with target with click to move on against a hostile target, you run up to the target and then start doing one of the default options based on your class shown here: https://isboxer.com/wiki/WoW:Interact_with_Target#Class_Behavior

Turn in Melee works when in melee range. But is there a way to face the target when your in the 6-29yd range?

Is there a way to do Interact with Target and/or Face Toward Target to a non-standard blizzard target which is: Attack, Loot, Open NPC window (merchant, quest giver, etc), such as a looted corpse?

You can only Interact With Target with things you can target. If you cannot target it, you cannot do an Interact With Target. Usually that results in an Interact with Mouseover setup instead, although that can be a bit iffy as your toons may not be facing the same way.
