Re: IWT issue

If everything you've told me is correct it should work.

You have it set up so that when you press ] (or [ maybe, I don't have your configuration in front of me) on your keyboard it will:

1) turn on click to move
2) assist the active character
3) send the ] key to all game instances.

When you release the ] key it will:

4) Turn off click to move

This of course assumes that you have correctly set up the IWT key binding in-game as ].

If you are pressing another key or expecting different behaviour then you will need to explain in detail what you are doing and what you expect to happen.

If the above is what you expect to happen then show me your configuration again so I can check the last changes were made correctly.

Re: IWT issue

I don't expect anything to happen except for IWT. No click to move or any thing else. If that is auto set up then I haven't changed it. I did just as the wiki
said to do.

I press my key and nothing happens. The keybinding is good. I mean I'm not sure of any other way to state the fact it works. But does not work after
I load isboxer. I've triple checked and checked again to make sure my binding in game is the same as the one in isboxer. And it matches. Again the toons
target the mob/npc on command with the ] key. They just do not right click.

There is the new install with only the ] key set up for IWT. I haven't changed anything else.

Re: IWT issue

OK, you currently have 2 Mapped Keys set up with the same ] Hotkey. For testing we need to fix that first.

Go into your General Key Map, select the Mapped Key called Interact with Target. Click the < button to change the Hotkey to <NO KEY>. File, Export to Inner Space.

This will leave you with a single, fairly simple Mapped Key to test with, called Interact with Target - Keep CTM.

Here are the testing steps to be done in order. If something fails to work as I describe I need to know which step fails and how it fails.

1) Launch the Shaman character set and log into your 3 accounts. Before logging in to each Character, ensure that the ISBoxer addon is enabled by clicking on the Addons button. Once they are all logged in, switch to Slot 1 if it isn't already active. Find an NPC merchant somewhere that you can interact with. Stand about 10 metres from the NPC.
2) Press Shift+Alt+M to turn Key Maps OFF. You should see a confirmation text pop up on your screen.
3) Type "/console autointeract 1" (without the quotes). The will turn Click to Move on for that Character. Click to Move must be on for Interact with Target to work.
4) Right click on the NPC. Your Character should move to the NPC and the Merchant window should open. If you get the on-screen message "You need to be closer to interact with that target" then Click to Move has not been turned on correctly (go back to Step 3).
5) Move back from the NPC again, keeping it selected. Now press the ] key on your keyboard. Your Character should move to the NPC and the Merchant window should open. If that does not happen then your keybinding for Interact with Target is unbound or incorrect. Set the key binding to ] and repeat this step before moving on.
6) Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for each Character.
7) Switch to Slot 1. Move all your Characters back a bit from the merchant. Ensure they are not following each other and only the Character in Slot 1 has the merchant targeted. Press Shift+Alt+M and confirm that Key Maps have been turned back ON from the on-screen pop-up text.
8) Press the ] key on your keyboard. All 3 Characters should target the merchant NPC, move to the merchant NPC and the merchant window should open on each screen.

Re: IWT issue

Doing the /console and then right clicking moved my target and opened the window. As I knew click to move was active.

But here is the issue. I knew it was isboxer... I went in to reset my ] key for iwt.. and it said

Click FTLtarget; Left button function is now unbound.

But its not unbound. As the key is still not working. So my ] key is assigned to something else in isboxer. But I do not have a clue what that could be.

So once again. My keybinding is working. Isboxer is blocking it from working. So I'll try another key combo?

:Edit. I swtiched it from ] to G and its working just fine. It seems ] is needed in Isboxer for something else.
How frustrating was that for you? Because I was about on the breaking point..lol

But thanks for your troubles. I know you were thinking I wasn't doing what you were asking. When in fact I was. Trust me.
I was trying. But its the keybinding isboxer didn't like it... go figure.

Got it. ] is the default Key Combination for /targetexact {FTL} in the WoW Macro Set Quick Setup 38 (under Game Helpers).

For future reference, ], Backspace and F11 are not good key bindings to use in WoW. I knew about Backspace and F11 but ] was new to me. Oh well.

Re: IWT issue

Well we both learned something today.. lol Which is never a bad thing. Now I know not to use f11.
Which is good since I had planned on using it.
Again thanks for your help :D
