Alt C shortcut.

Hey guys, does anyone else having a problem using Alt + C as a broadcast key? For some reason this is the only key that will not work in game for me when i try to use it to broadcast to my other clients. Is alt + C reserved for something? Sorry still fairly new at this and I tried googling it but didn't get an answer.

What game? EverQuest doesn't handle ALT-any key well. It will broadcast, but has hardcoded, unintended actions.

Both EQ1 and EQ2 for me. That stinks, guess i'll just avoid using that one.

In general, you can use just about any key combination as the hot key to activate something.
I'm guessing Alt + F4 is not a good one, though.

Similarly, a lot of mouse clicks or mouse + modifier clicks can be used as a hot key for a mapped key.

What the game is equipped to handle, that's going to vary from game to game.
Most games don't like binding a lot of actions to various mouse button clicks (with or without modifiers).
But you can still use them as what you click, for IS Boxer to send some combination that the game does like, to achieve you desired action.
