Set Standard MMO Keybinds to Different Keys?

I think this goes here, but I'll start anyways!
So, of course, I am new to ISBoxer, and multiboxing wasn't as I expected, but I'm figuring things out.
I do the Quick Setup in the Wizard for World of Warcraft, but I don't know how to change the standard MMO keybinds, because I don't use 1 through =, so I found Key Maps > WoW-Combat > Mapped Keys. But everything there is "Assist + Broadcast (1-=)(Hotkey: A)"
Without knowing it was actually Assist + Key, I went into the game, and soon figured that out, when my main window wasn't doing anything, while my second window was. How would I change the Standard MMO Keybinds to my own without an assist modifier?

Re: Set Standard MMO Keybinds to Different Keys?

You can select the mapped keys and delete them. Click, press DEL or right click, select Delete.

Then you can use the Mapped Key Wizard, and you can create Straight Key Broadcast mapped keys, rather than the Assist and Broadcast mapped keys.

If you want to create a mapped key which has a simple hotkey, e.g. 1, but is sends something more complex to the game, like CTRL+SHIFT+P, then you can choose a Key Re-map.
There are other options too, and these will provide a description.
You can always make them manually too. http://www.isboxer.com/wiki/Mapped_Key

Pay attention to the Target box. This is which game windows will receive the key combination (the bit sent to the game rather than the hotkey you press).
The main ones are:
  • Window: Current -> this is the current active window that you are controlling.
  • Window: All w/Current -> all game windows.
  • Window: All w/o Current -> all game windows except the one you are currently controlling.
  • or specific windows, like Slot 1, Slot 2, Slot 3
  • or specific characters only (this is less useful in the scheme of things, but you can setup mapped keys which send different things to specific characters, and a single mapped key could send something different to every character, but this will require a little manual config).
  • you can round robin targets too, i.e. cycle through the target windows 1 by 1 each time you press the hotkey.
  • or there is advanced targets http://www.isboxer.com/wiki/Target

Re: Set Standard MMO Keybinds to Different Keys?

I went through Map Keys Wizard, and set it to Combat > Straight Key Broadcasting, did all my keybinds, then entered game. Now when I chat it's "a1, s1, w6... etc." How do I fix that?

Another question too, is it possible to have more than one bar? I usually have 36+ keybinds, which is 1-10 action bars going on WoW.
Also, I normally hide my action bars. Is that possible with ISBoxer?

Re: Set Standard MMO Keybinds to Different Keys?

Turn off Key Maps when in Chat (the right toggle button, or SHIFT+ALT+M).

You can have more than one overlay bar. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UX6gsNLMsVI&t=2m50s on how to duplicate the existing one and set different hotkeys and resulting key combinations (stuff sent to the game).
If you don't want the ISBoxer action bars (just use the mapped keys, which work without the overlay) then you should remove the Standard menu from your character set.
Select your character set in the top left pane, in the lower left pane, select Menus, and then on the right click on Standard and unhighlight it.

From your previous post, I could tell you have already run the Quick Setup Wizard multiple times and created some conflicting options in the wizard, which has then asked you this question:

And you have selected to create the Alternate's (IMO the 3rd option is the better one to select). This can create some confusing setups if you are new to it, because you will have mapped keys in Key Maps that are not used by some character sets. I point this out just so you should be aware there may be some configuration nuances that might cause some issues later.
