Mapped keys for rotations - reset

Hi,

I have managed to get a good start with Mapped Keys so far, but one thing is proving to be difficult for me. I have a number of steps set up for applying rotations using different toons. This works really well, but is there a way to be able to reset on another mapped key or keypress?

I can see in the advanced that a reset is available but after pre-set time. None of the options available really suit this as the time number of keypresses is mostly random.

Fights are all different lengths and many of the first steps are debuffs, so being able to reset the steps somehow manually would be great. Is there a way ?

Cheers

Re: Mapped keys for rotations - reset

The easiest way would be to have a 2 step mapped key, with a Key Map Action -> Key Map State Action in each step, and step 1 sets the state Off, and step 2 sets the State On.
This will reset everything in the whole Key Map.

Another option would be to use Key Map Action -> Mapped Key State Actions, and then set each Mapped Key individually.

A third potential option would be to use a Key Map Action -> Mapped Key Step Action, and set the step of each Mapped Key back to step 1, although if you have timers and Do Not Advances running, I'm not sure how they would be affected or if you'd get wonky results.

Re: Mapped keys for rotations - reset

Thanks for a speedy reply :D

I have tried the Mapped Key State Action and as you have stated, it does reset the whole of the key map which is excellent. This of course also works across the virtual key maps too, so I am well chuffed. I only needed the 1 step which sets the state to on and I think when I hit the key to start off the rotations again it appears to reset the state to whatever the default is. As this works I wont try out other options at the moment, but appreciate your help.

Many thanks
