SWTOR - How to make healer target companions ?

Humm after nearly 3 days on, i still dont understand a lot :(

Team of 2 - dps +healer and 2 companions
1 computer - 2 accounts

What i can do with ISboxer : Follow, heal the dps, send the two companions to fight

What i still can not do : how to include the Companions so they receive the bubble and heals during fights

I tried to create mapped keys with Companions but i think i still dont catch actually the /w or w/o of those

Is it included into the main healer without having to do something ?

For now, my companions are too strong so they barely need heals so its hard to see, but when i test my healer she always and only target the dps

Any help would be welcome

Thank you

ps : i checked all the links video and threads in that forum and Dual Boxing too but i did not found my answer.

Re: SWTOR - How to make healer target companions ?

If companions don't have a specific SLOT association in ISBoxer, then the targeting setup will be manual via in game binds and redirection.

Can you set an in game bind for your character to target his companion? if so, set it to a specific key (this may be a specific party member bind which would make it easier as both characters in the party would know about it - I have no idea, this is SWTOR).
If you can set a bind, then the bubble caster can use this in ISBoxer to first target their Companion, then cast the bubble. This will be easy in ISBoxer because you can just send these keys to the bubble caster slot directly.
For the non bubble caster, you set a bind to target the companion too, but using it within ISBoxer would be different because you want the bubble caster to target the companion, and not the companion owner.
For the bubble caster to select the other companion they will need the companion owner to target their companion, and then send an assist to the bubble caster (although if a party member bind as above, then only the party member select is needed), and then cast the bubble.

Now if you can't use a bind to target the companion, then with most games it is usually a case of Target Self twice and it will first select yourself and then the companion (provided of course your didn't already have yourself selected). The remainder of the process is as above.

This does mean that the bubble on the companions is likely to need multiple steps and multiple presses of the hotkey to get the cast or heal to work.

Re: SWTOR - How to make healer target companions ?

Thank you for your answer :)

I dont know if i did it right, as you would have done it, but i found a solution after some more hours, and i can now target, heal and bubble the companions.

But i must say that with the keybinding from SWTOR not working for companions, and the fact that you have to find out who is the target slot f1, who is F2 or F3 when finally one of the team member is F1 ....

And ... arghh lol that was an epic day for me but i am happy to have it done.

For sur i will never be able to do all the things you all do with ISBOXER but i can actually appreciate some shiny victories with my team of two :)

So thank you!
