Automatically accept Quest

Hello,

I read in the forum that ISBoxer may adjust that my twink automatically accept the same quest as me.
Have since found some hints in the forum, but I had no success yet integrate the function.

I would be happy if someone could help me integrate this function

And excuse my bad english

Greetings

Re: Automatically accept Quest

That functionality is provided by the addon Jamba, and IsBoxer interacts with it. So you need to dowload and install jamba addon from Curse website for example.

Once installed, type /jamba and a window will popup with all the addon options. Select on the left menu quests, and then you will see all the quest options, Autoshare, complete with team, auto accept quests, etc..

Re: Automatically accept Quest

You could also enable Repeater, when you do the quest stuff.

Basically target the quest NPC, with the main.
Have the slaves assist you, so they have that NPC targeted too.

Press your keybind for IWT, broadcast to everyone.
If Click to Move is enabled, any toon not in range of the NPC will move into range.
The IWT acts like a right click on the NPC, so that will open the interaction window.

Once they all have the window open, enable mouse broadcasting.
Since the window is a static game element, in the same position on every screen... any choice you make on one, the others will make too.

I'd personally recommend Jamba...
You can set it to auto share, sharable quests between the team.

Lots of options, for boxing.
It was written by a boxer, for use by boxers... so will have several boxing friendly goodies.

Re: Automatically accept Quest

Hello,

thank you for your reply, I have decided to Jamba, cause it is much easier. I have everything set as jaumeat described it, but my toon is not acting (no right click on the NPC to open the quest).

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Re: Automatically accept Quest

Basically you need IWT keybound.
And no conflicting binds, across each of your toons.
And to have CTM enabled.

The procedure is click the NPC.
Have the slaves assist the main.
Press (broadcast) your IWT keybind.

IWT = Interact With Target
(This is in Escape > Keybindings > Targeting Functions (which is about a third of the way down)).

You need each toon to have a key bound, to the in-game IWT function.

For IWT to work, you need to either:
a) be in range of the NPC you want to interact with; or
b) have CTM enabled.

CTM = Click to Move

You can find CTM in Escape > Interface Options > Mouse Options.
Check the box.

You can also enable/disable it, via the console command.
Replace X with 1 = On
Replace X with 0 = Off
/console AutoInteract #

I believe the IS Boxer wizard generates two IWT/CTM mapped keys.
One of them turns on CTM, sends IWT, disables CTM.
The other just sends IWT, without doing anything to the CTM setting.

I'd personally leave CTM on, all the time (or maybe disable it for the current window, but enable is for the slaves)...
You could set that up, with two mapped keys that are both run as part of the... when I switch windows run this mapped key.
Window: Current (first one) disables CTM and Window: All Others (second one) enables CTM.

Re: Automatically accept Quest

One other step you'll need after you keybind IWT (assuming you did this *after* you ran the ISBoxer setup wizard) you'll have to go back into ISBoxer and tell him where you've keybound IWT. (Someone else will have to jump in and explain exactly *where* to do that.) I had this same problem because I hadn't keybound IWT, and even after I did it didn't "take." But later I watched one of the setup wizard videos and noticed the box for the IWT key setting and went back and checked it and it wasn't set. Voila, it started working. (You also need to have an Assist key bound in the game and a key set in ISBoxer, I believe.)

You do this under Variable Keystrokes. Select Variable Keystrokes in the top left pane of ISBoxer and then Interact with Target in the bottom left pane. You need to set the Default Key Combination to whatever your in-game key binding is.
