[EVE] Keystroke Action doesn't send to other windows

Hi

I've created a KeyStroke Action on one of my Mapped Keys as follows...

Mapped Key's Hotkey is set to Alt+C

Step 1:
Video FX: 'Inventory' -> all
ALT+I -> all

Step 2:
Video FX: 'Auto' -> all
ALT+I -> all


I have two characters currently set up in my Character Set and the idea of this keymap is that when I press it, it toggles all of my character's inventory windows and at the same time toggles which Video FX set I'm using.

The Inventories Video FX set has already been set up and works fine. The key mapping also correctly shows/hides the Video FX set.

The problem that I have is that the Keystroke sent to each client only seems to actually work on the current main client.

Any ideas?

Try enabling the "Hold" option for this Mapped Key. What is most likely happening is EVE is checking the state of the modifier late (e.g. in its scripting engine) rather than at the time the key is pressed, and because the Hold option is disabled, it's not registering as held at the time.

When you use the Hold option, you will still be holding the key when EVE checks for the modifier.

It works in the current window because you're still holding the Alt key at the time, regardless of whether the Mapped Key is sending it
