I'm able to launch the game but once in the character list screen
I am unable to click the play button or the exit button. I can move the cursor but that is all

Wondering if they have a hackshield as of recently?

Try cycling through each display mode (Windowed, Fullscreen, etc.) one at a time which will likely require you to close down your clients and restart them each time.

I cycled each display mode individually No luck.
Also reset everything in the game back to default no change

I've also tweaked the resolution of isboxer to match the game and vice versa.
Some of the problems ppl are having with daoc sound similar to this.
and i've tried the suggested fixes. Still no luck.
