ISBoxer and Asheron's Call...

Hello,

Love love love ISBoxer... I've used it to 'box both WoW and Rift and it works like a charm.

Trying to set it up for Asheron's Call right now and I'm running into a couple issues.

1) Can't get more than one game window to log in - ISBoxer will log in the first account just fine, but the second errors out with a message "There is already a client running on this machine. It is not possible to run more than one client at a time." Or something very similar... An old program used long long ago to multibox Asheron's Call called AC Dual Client (http://acdualclient.drakier.com) can log in multiple accounts simultaneously on a single machine, but I am not a programmer and have no idea what AC Dual Client does to trick the client into letting multiboxing happen.

2) When I log in the first account, ISBoxer sets the window size and it holds up to the character screen, but when I click the login button the client resizes itself and fill the screen even though ISBoxer is not set to do that. Changing screen resolutions in the game and switching the client from fullscreen to windowed mode do not fix this, the game stays filling the whole screen no matter what options I choose.

Asheron's Call is listed on the ISBoxer compatible games page as "Yes?" so I have hope - I'm looking forward to any help you can offer

I still play AC on Thistledown, but I do not multibox it with ISBoxer. I just log on three accounts individually on their own. Virindi Follower will allow you to have other accounts follow a main. http://www.virindi.net/wiki/index.php/Virindi%20Follower

Virindi Tank is used for the macro program. Many people that play multiple accounts use the follower with highly customized Virindi Tank and looting rules. I do not macro the high end areas because my guys cannot survive there. Still working in Egg Orchard on leveling.

As for dual/triple logging, AC Multiclient is much better. Each client has to be launched with a different port, which is probably why ISBoxer flakes out after the first client loads. That is a safe site and I use ACM all the time. You create extra directories based on how many clients you have and when there is a patch, you tell it to updated all folders, done.

I found AC Multi Client and it works much better than Dual Client did. Virindi Follower requires default movement keybindings - took a while to figure that out since I had changed them to my preference before trying to use Follower. Virindi Tank/Virindi HUD, as part of the plugins bundle has a Follow feature that works really well too, so that's nice to have options!
