Wildstar Free to Play

So looks like Wildstar is going free to play on 9/29/2015.

From what I remember back in the day when Wildstar first released, Wildstar did not allow multiboxing in Wildstar.
I re-read the Eula, Game Rules, Code of Conduct and the TOS and I find no mention now, whatsoever about multiboxing, multiple accounts, or owning and operating more than one account.
The TOS does now mention third party software, and it appears that Ncsoft and Carbide Studios have taken the same stance as most mmo company's. Theres is no mention now that you can not multibox this game anymore. They do specify what they wont allow with third party software. They state you can not automate or bot. This is found in section 8 of the TOS.

I played 5 accounts during beta before the game was released. When the game was released, and I seen the TOS, I decided to not multibox due to the fact they forbid it.
So I did not purchase any copies or subscribe.

Now since I see no mention of multiboxing being forbidden now, I have applied for the free to play beta access on all 5 accounts and have been boxing it now for 2 days. I'll let you know what happens, if anything happens.

But so far so good

So for whoever is wondering please post a reply with any questions or information you may have on this, or feel you want to add.

If you want clarification, then the best place to find that is either going to be through an official response on their forum, or a support ticket, since the EULA/ToS rarely ever have any mention of multiboxing/multi-clienting. If they've changed their stance--seeing as other NCSoft games allow multiboxing (e.g. Aion)--then, great. :)

Re: Wildstar Free to Play

Figured this would be the best place to ask for isboxer support for wildstar free to play, at this moment we can't launch the game, spent some time this morning trying to troubleshoot with moderators in the chat room. Hope we can box this game soon!

I'm installing a fresh copy of the game from the current download, and will be looking into this asap. Thanks :)

Re: Wildstar Free to Play

Inner Space 1.14 build 6103, now the development build of Inner Space, should correct this issue with WildStar. To try it out, right click Inner Space in the system tray (notification area) and select Patcher, tick "Download development (test) patches" and then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up.

Let me know :)

Re: Wildstar Free to Play

I'm still getting program failure when I try to launch the game, trying both the 64bit and 32bit and still same errors.

Re: Wildstar Free to Play

One weird thing is when I make the 64bit game launcher IS wont launch the game and tells me no "wildstar.exe" when I have directed it to look for wildstar64.exe, not sure why its doing that.

Re: Wildstar Free to Play

Make sure you're running the 64-bit version of Inner Space, found in the x64 folder.

Actually it sounds more like he has Inner Space pointing directly at the game client, instead of the launcher. Running 64-bit Inner Space is not required :)
