Age of Conan - Launcher maximizing.

Hey,

Innerspace is treating the latest version of Age of Conan's launcher as if it's the game client. It's resizing the launcher so it's impossible to click "start" and the client won't load.

Doh. I can't issue a permanent fix for this until probably next week.

However, if you tell me the filename of the Age of Conan launcher (and the filename of the actual client might help just in case), I can give you instructions to solve the problem for yourself sooner. You'll basically just tell Inner Space the filename of the launcher.

Patcher - ConanPatcher.exe
Client - AgeOfConan.exe

Both in the same directory.

Hmmmmmm that should already be detected as a launcher, I may have to check this out myself.

The launcher detection is done in Inner Space's "startup sequence" (specifically within DefaultStartup.iss) so if you have customized that at all, you may have inadvertently disabled this. If that's the case, then this issue would not happen with a clean install of Inner Space + ISBoxer -- or in testing for me unless I break it first.

I don't recall ever messing with the startup sequence, but I tried installing a fresh copy of ISBoxer and it's doing the same thing. Seems to be something specific to AoC, since I can launch several other games fine.

I've made a minor update to the current development build of Inner Space, which I believe will correct this issue. To try it out, right click Inner Space and select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up

I just reinstalled everything, updated to latest dev patch and it seems to be running now. At least, so far! The maximizing client problem is solved, anyway!

Broadcasting -
If you have problems broadcasting keys - make sure you tick "Make game believe it is foreground window". Also, you need to restart the clients after making this change.

Crashes -
AoC doesn't like being re-sized. I run in full screen stacked windowed layout & I'll set up video feeds to view my slaves.
