4 X Barbarian

I am new to dual boxing (Great software!!) and managed to level 3 additional barbs to 70 with my main (barb).. I don't see many threads about dual boxing barbs and was wondering if I chose the wrong class? There seems to be a lot of ranged multi-boxers but I don't come across any barb / monk setups.

I appreciate the guidance, I don't want to spend a lot of time trying to make barbs work if the community has found them to be a lost cause.

If your playing softcore, then nothing is a lost cause for sure.

I think they might be harder, but that doesnt mean they are unboxable.

I personally prefer a strafe build DH as they dont require a target and are AOE spec. Super easy. I am working up a 3x of every class and found WD to be easy as well. Tried wizard and crusader and it might be a little out of my skill range but setting macros/keys is a big help for boxing any class. Without the right macro setups its really hard.

Ellay has had good luck with a monk 4box in ROS, theres a thread over on www.dual-boxing.com.

I don't know of any up-to-date barb groups, but theres always whirlwind, and I remember a throw? barbarian team at some point.

Honestly, any oddball combination will work. Some just work way, way better. Leveling to 70 isn't that big of a commitment, so it's perfectly fine to experiment, and hey, paragon carries over.

I am playing 4 boxing barbarian. It is not easy as melee tend have to one character run away from the group.

I think every class is definitely viable, which is great.

I have a good friend Void who is running 4x Barbarian and usually runs Torment 4, which is beyond what I am able to do at the moment. I'd say they are very good.

im running 4 barbs with EQ set yes i like to jump like a rabbit and not all barbs using frenzy build and its not the most powerful. im melting t6 with this 4 barbs ( one of em is cold others are fire )...

ATM nothing beats Fire spec, whatever the class. Well, whatever the class that has good Fire skills that is, i.e. Barbarian, Wizard, Demon Hunter... This is not really because of the skills, it's because +%Fire damage that can be found on extra pieces (compared to other elemental specs).

Namely those 2 items :
- Cindercoat : http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/cindercoat because of the +% Fire damage AND Fire ressource reduction cost
- Magefist : http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/magefist because of the +% Fire damage (it's the only set of gloves that have a +elemental) AND you can have 4 more primary skills, which makes 5.

Then you can have those :
- http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/the-bur ... -of-sankis and/or http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/artisan/blac ... devastator
- http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/andariels-visage it can roll other +% damage than Fire, buts it's the only helm that has +% elemental (to my knowledge)

AND all the usual gear that can hold a +% elemental damage (amulet, bracers)...

Other elemental specs can benefit from nice combos of items too (Frost, Lightning) but you can't reach about +130% elemental damage as Fire specs do. It's very clear when you check the world's top elemental dps (http://www.diabloprogress.com/rating.stat_elemental_dps) or elemental elite dps (http://www.diabloprogress.com/rating.st ... _elite_dps)


For a Barbarian team it's more complicated than for Wizard or DH, you need to have at least :
- Cindercoat (for the ressource reduction)

- 4 pieces of "The earth" set...
