Issue with EVE client after Alt-Tab to desktop

Hey all

I've just started with ISboxer, and i'm getting a problem in EVE, running 1 client in fullscreen mode (I'm actually running 1 client on multiple PC's)
after pressing Alt-Tab to swith to the desktop, sometimes the EVE window will not re-activate and when it does
mouse positioning is off or not working and i have to close client with hot key, or kill the process

I'm running IS 1.11 Build 5642 and
ISboxer 40.3.0609.1

My Video cards are AMD Radeon 6790

I've been hunting around the forum only one message was in the RIFT section, from last month

any suggestions ?

Are you using a Window Layout? If you've only got 1 client per PC you can drop it entirely and enable the option under your Character Set to "Prevent ISBoxer from forcing the game into windowed mode (advanced)".

But then again, if you're not using one, you can probably work around this issue for the moment allowing it to force the game into a window.

Either way I'll see if I can reproduce, but it would help me to know whether you're using a Window Layout and whether that option is enabled in your Character Set.

Yes i am using a window layout, i used the wizards to generate the Character Sets, which added a windows layout automatically,

I'll drop the layouts and see if that helps

That did the trick i removed the window layout from both my character sets and changed the option at the bottom of the character set "Prevent ISboxer from forcing the game into Windowed mode (Advanced)

I can now alt tab out and back in and everything works.

I also found that the default cpu strategy limited the game to 2 cpu cores, as i'm only running one client per pc i put this backup to 8

I've seen this behaviour as well Lax, I would just re-launch the team and the issue would clear itself up most times. My team consisting of 7 clients running stacked windows fullscreen.

Hmm, I've always ran my 6 box in fixed-windowed. Have you tried that?
