slave window behind taskbar

This is a bit annoying, sometimes the slave window(s) are behind the taskbar. When i click on the main window they are brought to the front but as soon as I click them (or, when the main window loses focus) they are behind the taskbar again. This makes it impossible to click at the lower part of the screen in the slaves. I have W7 64-bit, Radeon HD4800 series with IS 5326. I have "Slave" regions always on top selected.

I believe turning off Aero fixes this. I have WIn7 x64 as well, and keep my task bar over to the side, but I have Aero turned off and the task bar set to auto hide. It is constantly popping up over my task bar when I get sys tray messages, but cycling focus on my slaves fixes the problem.

The other solution is to create a window layout that leaves room for the task bar. I'm too lazy to set this up myself, and just deal with the task bar when it shows up.
