ISboxer Launcher 1.0.0.19 MSCOREE.DDL Error

So isboxer has been working just fine for a few days and then today the same issue started to persist again. I would start innerspace and the ISboxer eve launcher like normal, go to launch my character set and then boom nothing happens. uninstalled my anti-virus again, and tried again with the same result. After a restart and watching the task manager closely, I saw an error pop up and disappear. Here is a screen cap of the error https://i.imgur.com/VPXCzGV.png Thoughts ideas?

It doesn't actually say what is wrong, but I would check to make sure you can log in to the account with the credentials you are specifying, as the data provided indicates a login page is being returned, and ISBEL doesn't know what to do with it as it is expecting to get a different response. I assume there is actually some text which says something to that effect.

I triple checked the log in information with the same result. Also tried my other accounts and my friends account and all of them produced the same error. Logged into the ccp website and it showed sending tokens to the launcher.

edit: also tried to uninstall and reinstall in a different place with the same result.

Re: ISboxer Launcher 1.0.0.19 MSCOREE.DDL Error

I don't know what to tell you.
The response you are getting is literally the page that is displayed when attempting to log in. As ISBEL is sending the request on behalf of this page, you should be getting the response back as though you have filled this page in. I can only guess that something is not correct in the authentication information, but I cannot tell you what that is, as is not apparent in the data you posted. In the other examples I've seen where this happens, it has some extra text which indicates what the issue is, and ISBEL does look for the extra text to determine the reason for the failure.

I can't replicate the issue, and without being able to debug through it with an account causing the same issue, chances are we wont ever know, unless you can figure it out. The only thing I'd have to go on currently would is it might be possible your credentials are not being transformed correctly due to language specific values.

no worries man. It is just a bit annoying to keep having issues. what makes me wonder wtf is up is that the issue keeps happening even when completely delete everything but then reinstall and it still happens. idk. Should i send the debug info to lax or i'm just not really sure what to try :P

edit: i doubt it but would re-installing innerspace completely help or no.

OK, let step back. What did you do to resolve the previous issue you were having?

Can you post a compatibility diagnostic on ISBEL ?

Re: ISboxer Launcher 1.0.0.19 MSCOREE.DDL Error

The most obvious thing that I'd try at this point is whether it happens without Avast installed (including any browser addons it may have). This is hooking the launcher and may be interfering. If you prefer, you can try setting exludes first, on the following:
  • ISboxerEVELauncher.exe
  • exefile.exe
  • InnerSpace.exe (both of them - there is one in the x64 sub folder)
  • eveonline.com

Re: ISboxer Launcher 1.0.0.19 MSCOREE.DDL Error

ah okay. So it seems that for some reason Avast and Windows Defender were both blocking eveonline.com so that is what was tossing that error up.
