This is exactly the same error I was getting before I reconfigured Norton Antivirus to exclude the Innerspace and EVE directories. I didn't mention it because updating NAV exclusions resolved the issue. But that screenshot he provided was literally the exact same error box I got.

If he has Norton AV (like I do), doing this may stop that error box:

This fixed the launch issue for me, but resulted in this problem I have no idea how to get around, but seems very likely related somehow to the ISBEL (since manual launching via Innerspace using the official EVE launcher does not have this problem):

It would have been helpful to do so, then we know we are chasing the same thing. Sometimes we get many issues which have similar symptoms, but are not the same thing, and if details are left out, it gets hard to differentiate them.

That said, thanks for confirming. Without seeing the diagnostics or the traces, it is impossible to tell whether other people are doing the things suggested.

This is a known issue if you have ISBEL log in your characters directly. If you set it to only log in your accounts then this issue doesn't occur.

It's so much better if new problems can be in new threads...

So this all stems from norton. In the end i discovered that my chrome still had a Norton extension on it and that was throwing the error after the entire secuirty suite was uninstalled. Since my sub was about up to Norton, I just got rid of it and switched. Thanks all for the help and keep making great software guys thanks :)

Glad you got that sorted.

It's good that you reported back too. That tidbit of info about the browser extenstion is probably quite useful to know, seeing as the launching process is quite web request oriented, and if the Nortons browser extensions are getting their tentacles involved in something they shouldn't be, then it certainly provides something to focus on to get a fix.
