Ways to improve multi-boxing performance?

I currently run all of my clients out of the 1 eve folder.

However I read somewhere that installing junctions (as mentioned in the eve wiki http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Multiple_clients)

would really improve performance when multiboxing.

Currently some things are very painful (like doing market stuff) and i've kinda gotten used to it over the months / years.... but I am hoping for a better solution.

Re: Ways to improve multi-boxing performance?

When using Inner Space you wouldn't need to use a software like junctions. I believe the performance increase you are talking about is in reference to running multiple copies of the game from different directories, which would increase the overhead of launching additional sessions.

As for other ways to improve performance, you can either upgrade your hardware, or tweak the settings in the game a bit. Disabling advanced lighting features, lowering the detail, or simply reducing the resolution the game is running in can help improve performance.
