CPU Strategy Wizard with 9900kf

Hello,

I recently got 9900kf CPU back in July. Love this processor, especially with EQ. Night and day difference from 4770k. I run a 5 box team (Paladin, Enchanter, Mage, Druid and Wizard). When I run this wizard, it preselected all 16 threads on all 5 chars and I thought that's odd. If I want to optimize the performance on 5 boxes, would I use 1,2,3,4 on 1st char, 5,6,7,8 on 2nd, 9,10,11,12 on 3rd, and 13,14,15,16 on 4th and 5th boxes, would that be better? What would you do to assign to each boxes?

Thank you. :)

As a default I would use all cores for all instances. It's what would happen if you didn't use ISBoxer.

If, there were performance issues, and I'd traced it to some other program consistently using a specific core (like CPU0) , then I'd not let the games use that (I'd probably also block out CPU1 in that case too, because Hyperthreading). Otherwise, I'd let them have access to any core they liked, just in case the core they were assigned happened to be used by the OS for something important, like network traffic processing, and the game was then starved, because it couldn't get any CPU time, whereas if I'd left it alone it could just be started on any free core.
