FPS drop and lag

Hello! So Ive been using Isboxer for about 3 months now. Everything was going awesome (really freaking love the program) but all of a sudden 2 days ago I started getting very bad FPS drops on 2 of my 5 toons. Those 2 toons can drop to as low as 1 FPS but they will not break 10 FPS. The other 3 toons are running around 60 like they have been all along. So far Ive Re installed Isboxer, created the char set from scratch, re installed EQ, installed it on a second drive and yes, re installed windows (I know a bit drastic but meh). Im running a GTX 970 with 16 gigs of ram. Ive disabled Anti aliasing as well thinking maybe that was causing lag but it didnt help. Ive read a few posts of similar issues but didnt have any luck.

Im sure this will be something simple and some form of operator error. Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Ive also tried running the CPU wizard and using the other options instead of round robin. No luck. Any ideas?

Re: FPS drop and lag

If you've reinstalled windows (fresh, e.g. format first) and EQ, and you still get the same issue, then I think it is unlikely to be anything local to you, and possibly server related. Do you get the same issue with those toons if you load them normally?

The only thing I would suggest is the profile you linked has each game round robining on the CPU, and you should really be using all cores with all games. So run the CPU Strategy Wizard, select that from the drop down, Export, and see what goes. Don't change any other options.

Re: FPS drop and lag

Yea its doing the same thing. I dont get why toon 1 and toon 5 are the only one with problems. To answer your question if I launch the old fashioned way I dont have any issues and my FPS is normal. Anything else I should link to you that may shed some light on this?

Thanks for the help.

Re: FPS drop and lag

I only had one instance going when I ran that. Should I do it with all 5?

Re: FPS drop and lag

No need to do all 5. I also can't see anything particularly useful in there, which would then make me want to run some monitoring, perhaps with Open Hardware Monitor, to see what the hardware is reporting (I thought you already had, but reading back, that must have been another post).

It does matter, and it's the one we wanted. From the looks of it, you're maxing out two of your cores:

| +- CPU Core #1 : 92.0635 91.0256 100
| +- CPU Core #2 : 91.2698 85.7143 95.8333
