Can't get IsBoxer to launch my Team in one go.

Using the ISBoxer Launch button, it will only launch the first account on my 6 box...

I can individually go in and launch all 6 toons by launching by slot....however Id love for the ease of accessibility of just clicking it once and launching all of my guys...

Appreciate any help all can provide, Thanks!

Re: Can't get IsBoxer to launch my Team in one go.

Have you tried using the right-click context menu of the Inner Space tray icon to launch your team instead?

Re: Can't get IsBoxer to launch my Team in one go.

Just to be clear on this, you are right clicking on the Inner Space icon in the system tray, going to ISBoxer Character Sets, then in the flyout, selecting your Team name, and you only get one window appearing, and the remainder don't launch. If you are not doing exactly this, then that is the issue. If you are doing this, then the usual reason for what you have described is that the launcher process you are using is not exiting after the game has loaded AND the game loading is not triggering correctly (if it was then you would end up with multiple windows all thinking they are slot 1 if it was just the launcher not exiting).

All that seems a bit odd seeing as we are talking EQ, and it has been around a while.

Perhaps a http://isboxer.com/wiki/Diagnostics is in order on a character you have loaded up with Inner Space/ISBoxer.

Re: Can't get IsBoxer to launch my Team in one go.

I cant see anything major sticking out that would cause an issue, but chances are it will be one of the below:

  1. You are not running the current release of ISBoxer, and presumably Inner Space too. Yours is from the turn of 2016, and there have been a number of updates since then. Not that any of those updates are EQ specific, but I'd certainly recommend keeping mostly up to date with it.
  2. You are running EQ from a Steam installation, rather than the standalone installation from Daybreak. I don't know whether the Steam installation of EQ is any different to the standard EQ install direct from Daybreak, but it is always recommended to use non-Steam installations as they wont then attempt to load in the Steam overlay features, or require you to log into Steam to launch the game. As it stands, if you have Steam running, and EQ is being registered, then the fact that Steam is still running will be preventing ISBoxer/Inner Space from detecting the completion of the game launch. There is a process for launching Steam games (yes this is on a TOS thread, its the process that matters), but it is more of a PITA than what you are doing now. You should move to using the Daybreak installation if possible.
  3. Your Windows 10 is not up to date, and it doesn't appear to be LTSB. Mine is more up to date than yours, and I run Win10 Enterprise with deferred and locked down update settings to prevent automatic updates. I bring this up because sometimes the updates matter sometimes. Not that I recall it being an issue for EQ previously, but it does affect some games.
  4. You are using Locktime Software's NetLimiter. If you have this blocking Inner Space then that might be causing a problem. Inner Space will authenticate on each character launch, so blocking it will prevent other characters from loading.
  5. You are running McAfee. This might not play nice with Inner Space. Only way you cant truly tell is to uninstall it (for testing it out) and see if the problem goes away. If you want to know why an uninstall is the only true test, Microsoft explain it here (you have a read a fair bit to get to the point).
  6. Samsung Magician has caused bizarre launching issues in the past, although this was only a couple of times, and for the most part it doesn't matter.

It would be interesting to know what Inner Space is actually reporting in the Console (right click the icon in the system tray, select Console - you want the Uplink Console window) when your second toon doesn't launch. If it says it waited 3 minutes and timed out, then chances are it is something in one of the above items.
