Well, you have a default (whatever you use the most).

Then you make a mapped key, triggered how you want, for each of the permutations you'll use.
When you adjust your group (on the fly), to one of those permutations, activate the respective mapped key and then the F-Keys target correctly so assist & follow work properly.
