Lag with multiple accounts

Hi guys,
I have been a long time on / off user and I am experiencing lag with my current setup. For some history, I used to 8 box on one computer and 12 to 14 box on another and had zero hardware lag issues. this was about 1.5 to 2 years ago.

Fast forward to about 6 months ago I cant load more than 5 on the laptop and maybe 6 or 7 on the desktop. I can load 12 instances of EQ on desktop without isboxer and it loads fine, no issues.

Also, I run synergy a mouse and keyboard sharing program and isboxer locks my mouse when loging in / loading screen, without isboxer it does not, any way to fix this as well?

Can anyone help?

I dont play EQ, but one thing I would do is switch to using input director over synergy.

I've heard many people have problems with synergy. I've been using ID for years without issue, its a great piece of software.

Thanks for the links, I am familiar with those settings.

The point is, with nothing changing, I went from being able to box 8/14 to 5/7, all that changed is I had an older build then updated and noticed a significant slowdown. Not using IsBoxer allows me to box that number so something else changed.

Edit: hope that did not come off flippant, I appreciate the advice. Ill take a second look.

Well, I may have to eat crow a bit. I followed the performance tips link and changed some card graphic options with the driver and seem to be closer to my old performance. I am close to maxing memory out as well which so this may be solved. Ill post more after some additional testing.
