Interruping spell cast.

New to isboxet here. Again.

Are there any tips how to stop spellcasting once it's initiated in EQ? I.e. I am Casting complete heal but suddenly I need to interrupt it to cast a quick heal instead...

How would you normally interrupt the cast? do that.

I don't play EQ (although I have loaded it once or twice), so I don't really know, but in other MMO's moving can interrupt a cast, hitting the hotkey for the current cast can interrupt, or even double tapping a different hotkey can interrupt the existing one. Usually the consistent breaker is movement for longer cast time skills.

In EQ , we duck. Default duck button is "x" i think. Mine is C. Then you un-duck again to stand up and start casting again..

When i make in game macro with /stopcast it does not work.

It says "you can't use that command right now..."
But if I type it /stopcast, when the spell is being cast, it works.. \

Not weird. Socials don't work while another action is being executed.

by default its bound to "shift-s".
ducking wont cancel bard songs
check your keys, you'll find it there

I guess, I will have to make a mapped key to be broadcasted to duck then..

EQ also has an key map action to 'Stop Action'. By default it isn't assigned a key, but I use this to stop a EQ macro (social) if I need that charactor to stop what it's doing and do something else. As far as I know, there isn't a slash command to go with it, but could be wrong on that.
