Trove/Glyph Client Issues

So I'm having an issue where my Character sets won't load, all was working well 24+ hours ago,
and when i tried to run the character set yesterday no luck, i have updated windows as per
@altbob's recommendation with no success, i have tried terminating a large list of applications
as per @MiRai's recommendation, again... with no success.

Here is a screenshot of the Innerspace
console that i am receiving, http://imgur.com/a/hAZkK as well here is a pastebin of my
Diagnostic https://pastebin.com/U9sQ5nW7

Also here is a Pastebin of my Toolkit Profile https://pastebin.com/PJ45m686

When you had previously eliminated running programs you were still using the Steam version, but now that you're using the standalone Glyph client you're still running many programs which are known offenders for conflicting with Inner Space, so I'm going to have to ask (again) that you shut down the following processes (also listed below) and then re-test the Character Set. If that still doesn't work, then we will need to see a clean diagnostic without them running.

Also, if executables are failing to launch then they may still be listed in the Task Manager as a running process that is frozen/stuck/hung, and those will need to be cleared out before any additional attempts to launch a Character Set are made. If they're frozen, then Lax may want to see a Trace Diagnostic (the file would need to be e-mailed to him), but if they're not frozen, then the Event Viewer in Windows may provide an answer (Windows Search > Event Viewer > Application > begin looking for error entries around the time of an attempted launch).

Finally, I'll mention again that I'm not having any issues launching the Glyph Client through Inner Space (both default profile and a Character Set), but I'm also not using an AMD GPU, so that may have something to do with it.

Re: Trove/Glyph Client Issues

I'm having the same issue and it started with me with an automatic update patcher that pop'd up as I was logging in all my alts. The original update on Glyph Tuesday installed (the manual one) and i was able to log in my alts fine using the manual login as I usually do through Inner Space, as I got to logging in my 8th alt (the auto-patcher kicked in from Glyph with a pop-up window) and started another patch automatically. This was the start of the issue. I thought this patch messed up my Glyph client (as I always try to patch without using the multiboxing software first). So I uninstalled Glyph, redownloaded and installed it and the updates.. and still the same issue trying to log into Glyph. It appears to be loading, then stops..
nothing showing up on the screen whatsoever except for the windows loading icon. I even uninstalled ISBoxer and Innerspace and tried reinstalling them and the same problem persists.

I believe something in the patch from Glyph is affecting the way ISBoxer/Inner Space loads the Glyph client and needs a patch/update.

Re: Trove/Glyph Client Issues

@Eldaeryn,
What pc components does your pc have so that it may help them isolate the problem it seems that some users are not experiencing the same issues we are, perhaps it has to do with hardware related software such as AMD's video drivers and such?

I will use this website ( https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/m ... er-details ) in order to discover my components and then take a screenshot from the advanced tab that appears hopefully more information will help lead to a quicker solution, if you could do the same and take a similar screenshot perhaps it will help?

Re: Trove/Glyph Client Issues

I doubt it's the pc components.. as it was working fine with all the updates, installing the manual ones and I've been using my settings unchanged for months. It all started with the glyph auto-updater (probably the update) that is causing the issues. It wasn't until that last update and bang, stopped working.

This happened before about 5 months ago and same issue. The creator looked into it and made a patch and all was good again. I'm pretty confident it's related.

Re: Trove/Glyph Client Issues

@ First glance to me it seems the only things we have in common are the windows version and That we both are running AMD CPU's.
Perhaps I'm wrong but to me that would mean it is not gpu related whatsoever. Upon seeing this i Attempted to run ISBoxer on one of my servers and suceeded in launching the glyph client via InnerSpace
Server Specs here ( http://imgur.com/a/c0ZyF )
Hopefully this information can contribute to a solution, just started my trial only have 3 days left and so far i have only been able to use it one day lol
