The Sunken Temple of Qarn [Level 35]

This looks like a fun final boss fight...

I hear it's optional, though. ;)

Hardest part of these damned dungeons is the time limit to complete them. It seems that by the time you progress through the trash and learn the bosses u barely have time to experience the endboss. I'm not sure how doable that fight is going to be with black mages since they have to stand still and cast during the "lazer beams". I'm getting ready to take on this dungeon people have been telling me its impossible to multibox...lets prove them wrong!

i dont like the fact you have to do the dungeons as part of the story to continue as it makes it a pain but just something we will have to do i suppose

Re: The Sunken Temple of Qarn [Level 35]

i don't think i did this one as part of the main story quest line, i do believe this is one of 4 or 5 dungeons that are side-quest unlocks. You should however run into the quest to unlock it while running the main storyline.

ill reconfirm/source this in a bit (after i go to lunch), i am almost 42 and i didn't do this dungeon yet.

Dungeons up to Brayflox’s Longstop are for sure in the quest chain minus Halatali. Originally i believed the list for side-quest unlocks was: Halatali, Sunken Temple Of Qarn, The Wanderer's Palace and Aurum Vale.

Re: The Sunken Temple of Qarn [Level 35]

Looks like a simple fight with Black Mages, and even more so when you understand the mechanics.

Paladin runs around keeping hate on boss while hitting adds, if Black Mages can still use sleep from Thaumaturgy days then just sleep the ones you don't have hate on yet. Black Mages melt adds, continue on boss.

The "lasers" randomly target one teammate, and don't oneshot if you don't move. So just spread your guys out so only one gets hit, and then single-heal them back to full HP while tank has defensive buffs on. I've done harder boss fights tbh, "The Maw" comes to mind.
