I am having trouble setting up Key Maps on EQ2, I have followed all the steps from the tutorial and the Wiki yet when I assign a key map it does not function.

I want seperate Key Maps for my 2 non focus characters.

The steps I follow are as follows:

1) Key Maps
2) New Key Map
3) Mapped Keys
4) New Mapped Key
5) I assign a Hotkey Alt+1
5) Steps
6) New Step - Select 1
6) Actions
7) Key Stroke Action
8) Target Character Slot of character
9) Key combination - make it "1"
10) I save and then export into Innerspace and launch the game.

Can anyone please let me know where I am going wrong!

Is there something I am missing?

Probably missing the part where you assign the Key Map to your Character Set in order to activate it.

I have cracked this thanks, not long after I made the post

I deleted everything and started from scratch and it now everything is working fine.
