EQ2 - Windows 8 Clients won't Launch

I could use some help configuring my system for the first time. I have two accounts and created a character set. I had to add the game as the application could not find it's location (on drive D). I used the default settings for everything except the background FS which I adjusted to 15. Both accounts are full accounts so it is configured not to pass any parameters. When I click on the character set to launch, nothing happens. Could somebody point me in the right direction as I am on a trial basis and would like to get this working before my time runs out?

I was able to get it to work .. way cool! I configured everything, just forgot to restart Inner Space.
