Game Lauynches with small window

I have an error where the game launches in a very small window and then it crashes. Windows prompts me to search for a solution online or cancel. The game window itself is very small, probably 300x200 or smaller when it launches through inner space. i have found that I can prevent the crash by manually dragging the corner of the game window to a bigger size. The window will eventually fix to the 800x600 resolution I have it set as in ISBoxer.
Any idea on how to have the game launch in the correct size?
