Diablo2 Resurrected Crashing

Hi,

i just reinstalled D2 res. again after quite some time and wanted to launch to two games, did everything like in this setup (ref: https://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10890), i can open two accounts, open a game ingame, but as soon as i want to join a game with the second opened account the other game crashes. what could be the reason for this? thanks

There are many reasons why a crash might occur. One usually needs to look for the clues left behind to determine the reason.

• Is there a crash report we can look at (the whole report)?
• Can you check if you get a crash dump - check in your Inner Space folder for a .dmp file named like name_of_client.exe.dmp, otherwise check %LocalAppData%\CrashDumps (you can press Windows+R and paste that into the Run box) for name_of_client.exe.####.dmp (where #### is the process ID that crashed/disappeared/didn't launch)

Hey thanks for the quick reply, there is a D2R.exe.dmp file in the innerspace file yes.

It is a crash in an InnerSpace library. But, it is possible it is because of the Nahimic/A-Volute (sound device) OSD.
Can you disable the sound device/control overlay and see if that stops the issue ?

Wow, this really solved the problem. no way i would have found that out myself, thanks a lot man!!!

Oh sad i was too enthusiastic, it lasted for a few seconds but then crashed again

i meanwhile also reinstalled Innerspace and isboxer, somehow i dont get a .dmp file now

What is also interesting if i open just one game via Innerspace there is absolutely no problem, only when i join a game with the second
