Re: CPU at 100 - Long Loads

I've not made any changes relating to your issue, since the current LIVE (non-development) build, 6372.

Any differences you have seen since build 6372 are unrelated to the changes in the development builds
6373 (which was an "Experimental fix" for someone having an auth issue), or 6374 (which includes the Task system in LavishScript).

I would specifically change your CPU Strategy to be ALL WINDOWS USE ALL CORES.

Sometimes it takes so long and lags the whole computer to the point where the cursor has a delay and a lot of actions produce the "windows error beeps."

I would also make sure you're not running completely out of system RAM or VRAM. What you're describing is not normal, what kind of actions produce "windows error beeps" other than trying to interact with the window that is apparently loading?

Most of the rest of http://isboxer.com/wiki/HOWTO:Tweak_your_framerate applies here as well, please go through this guide, it includes a video by MiRai. The system requirements since WoW 8.1 have increased, so if you were close to your limits before 8.1, you might be hitting those limits now with 8.1. If you're simply hitting your system's limits since 8.1, then you're going to need to adjust game settings. If your CPU is at 100%, we know you've hit at least one system limitation.

Here is MiRai's newest video (not the one in the above guide), specifically about new performance considerations and differences with WoW 8.1
