It may help to see the crash report, but here are a list of some other things:
- 1) Update your Intel graphics drivers, if there is an update available.
- 2) Remove the compatibility flags from the Battle.net Agent.
- Code:
0 C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\Agent.2880\Agent.exe: $ IgnoreFreeLibrary<netprofm.dll>
0 C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\Agent.exe: $ IgnoreFreeLibrary<netprofm.dll>
- 3) Shut down (or temporarily uninstall) the following programs (the list scrolls):
- Code:
1. ActivateDesktop.exe - Process ID: 4868 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bluetooth Suite\ActivateDesktop.exe) [Admin:YES] [x64] [25/02/2013 08:40:25]

- 4) If none of the above work, then you will likely have to fully update and patch Windows to 8.1, since I'm not sure if 8 is supported.

I'm going to add the suggestions that
- You remove the application compatibility items from the registry for the following:
- Code:
Application Compatibility flags under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers:
0 C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\Agent.2880\Agent.exe: $ IgnoreFreeLibrary<netprofm.dll>
0 C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\Agent.exe: $ IgnoreFreeLibrary<netprofm.dll>
- You update to Windows 8.1 We've had a recent spate of issues for people on Win 8, and its a bugger to track it down, and most have resolved by updating to 8.1 with all available updates (or eve Win10).

1)
Did the one and the same error, I have even created a new user in the pc, disabled all non microsoft services.
New pastebin:
https://pastebin.com/P2SVRr4z-crash error:
- Code:
Software: Inner Space Session 1.16 (Wed Aug 1 18:58:18 2018)
Crash: 0x37D11019: Exception 0xc0000005 writing to address 0x344200E8 in module ntdll.dll

2) Tried to upgrade to windows 8.1 from the store, but always fails on upgrading and rollsback to windows 8, not sure why. But a friend tried isboxer on my pc with windows 8, couple of years ago and it was working fine. But I think to recall it was on DX9. Not sure if its a good hint.
Thanks.

Dude, that was 2 years ago, and well, shit has moved on, and there appears to be something specific in Win8 that is no longer being catered for (or it has had an update that needs special handling). The error has very low demand for the time required to setup a test environment, try to get something to replicate the issue (and a clean install may not), then fix it. Not saying it won't be looked at, but on the other hand, it may also not be high priority.
Also, if it fails at applying a fairly standard update to Win8.1, then perhaps there are other underlying issues that need to be resolved by something a bit more drastic, like a complete fresh reinstall of Windows (although again, I'd be going for Windows 8.1 seeing as Microsoft no longer support Windows 8. FYI: 8.1 is nearing EOL too).

Also appears to be a laptop (possibly desktop) with both Nvidia and Intel graphics active. This does mean the double trouble of keeping both them up to date. Also the NVidia Detours shim is loading, which is a little strange. I can't specifically call out why it would be, but that is not a super sign of the drivers loading up in a desirable fashion.
