Hey bob!

With some witchcraft and wizardry I've managed to launch the character set with 3 sessions!
After I've run Dxwebsetup from Compatibility mode (Windows XP) it succesfully installed some DirectX versions.
Once I launched the Char Set again, it didn't show anything. Only Task Manager showed that 2 background processen where running instances of WoW.
Incidentally, I've come up with a way to launch my Char Set from there!

Step-by-step:
1. Open WoW from own directory (C:\\Windows\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe) and leave it open.
2. Launch your Character Set
3. In Task Manager, end the first of the 2 backgroundprocesses. Then the first char will load correctly in screen.
4. Close and re-open WoW from own directory.
5. Launch your Character Set
6. In Task Manager, end the first of the 2 backgroundprocesses. Then the second char will load correctly in screen.
7. Repeat from step 1 or 4 until all screens have been opened.

So far, once it is up, it works great for me.
Hope that there is a way to make this a bit easier, but I am really happy it works now!

Thanks a lot for all the help.

The way to make it easier would be to fix whatever is bugging out. It would seem to me to be something rather fundamental in Windows, or the graphics system, that is either corrupted, or in need of complete removal/reinstall (and when it comes to drivers, only those components things you actually need).

You should definitely NOT need to set application compatibility flags to install the DirectX update. By setting to WinXPSP2, you end up only installing the 32bit components, which is possibly why InnerSpace and WoW are only running 32bit.
