Inner Space failed to load

Hi,
I had a break for a few months, when I come back to play I renewed my membership about a week ago. When I try to load a character or character set, I am getting "Inner Space failed to load Lavish.DLL". I have tried updating, deleting and reinstalling the innerspace package, also getting beta updates. Nothing has changed with my computer since I last used ISBoxer, except any updates with microsoft or WoW. I have tried a few things I could find online from other people having similar issues in the past. Unfortunately for me I always seem to run out of time while trying different things.

Here is my running services, any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Inner Space failed to load

Trend Micro was recently identified as a source of compatibility issues for some people with Inner Space. I would guess that is the issue you're running into now. I can provide a test patch for you, either later tonight or tomorrow morning. In the meantime if you want you can try disabling or uninstalling Trend Micro and that may get you going immediately

Re: Inner Space failed to load

I tried to disable Trend but had to uninstall to turn it off completely. After uninstalling Trend I was able to open my character set without the "failed to load" I reinstalled Trend and issue is back so you were correct. I just need to find a way for these to work together.

Thanks Nooby.

Re: Inner Space failed to load

After playing around for some time I seem to only be able to get everything to work if I completely uninstall Trend. If anyone knows a way to have Trend still working while I use this program I'd be very happy.

Thanks Nooby.

Re: Inner Space failed to load

That'd be due to the fact disabling Antivirus does not in fact do that. I/O is still routed through the AV products filter driver regardless of whether the product is enabled or not. It does however change the inspection that the AV product does.

You could try specific excludes in the AV product for all the items involved, i.e. InnerSpace.exe (both the one in the InnerSpace folder and the \x64 folder, and the game executables, wow.exe, wow-64.exe, and any others that are applicable. This might not work due to the fact that an exclude is very similar to you using the disable setting, but it might be a slightly different code path (we don't know as we don't have the source).

Other than that, the only other choices are, don't multibox, or leave it uninstalled, until Lax is able to provide a patch.

Re: Inner Space failed to load

Thank you for your reply, please don't think I am being pushy, I don't mind waiting for Lax. I was only asking so if someone had a similar issue in the past they could share their knowledge. If I had of been able to have it working then it would be less on Lax's plate, but since I had already tried what you suggested with the exclusions and anything else I could think of, I am happy to wait for Lax, as I was from the start.

Thanks Nooby.

Re: Inner Space failed to load

Are you on the development build of Inner Space? (buld 6243 is latest)

If not, please try it -- there is an attempted compatibility fix. To try it out, right click Inner Space and select Patcher, tick "Download development (test) patches" and then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up. Let me know :)

Re: Inner Space failed to load

Still no luck with this issue, I have been checking and trying updates when I can but nothing has changed for me, still getting the same message.

Thanks, Nooby.
