Interact With Target Problem

I am new - 4-5 days - and have messed something up

my interact with target has gone wonky.....

all 5 of my characters and interact with target keybined and ctrl-alt-g

isboxer interact with target hotkey is g, and have set variable keystrokes to ctrl-alt-g

what my 4 sub characters have started doing is when on the main i target and engage - auto assist kicks in - the 4 start casting and then instant turn to melee and run to the target like it was a npc.

If i remove the keybind from the game - they cast like they should - but makes it very hard to interact with a npc

You will probably need to navigate here and clear this one out.


Clicky on the < arrow to the right of the highlighted box, and set the Key Map dropdown to the empty selector at the top, or just highlight each drop down and press DEL. Then press OK.

It should look like this.


Export to Inner Space and you should be back to normal.

Well.....

that worked but has a side effect.

I can no longer select a quest npc, corpse or other item and hit "g" to have them run up to it and interact with the npc

This used to work until I did a clear and ran the wizard again for current configuration.

Something is making them start casting, quit, and run a melee attack the target

I an not sure where to look

Any other ideas?

It would probably help to see a fresh copy of your profile after making the change.

The config looks fine.

Try changing your CPU strategy to a non-round robin one. You can use the CPU Wizard in the menu at the top.

Select the last option in the drop down (or the "Select no CPUs, let the game do it" option - they are effectively the same).


Also, double check your in game bind for IWT and check if it is actually set to G.
This one below should match the keystroke for the in game keybind for IWT.
