Multiboxing the garrison?

I have found that the garrison is a complete pain to butt. Is there a way to make it a little more enjoyable? The reason I ask is that it seems I have to individually do garrison missions, quests, etc and it is taking forever, so is there a way around that? I have tried to go to the other toons garrisons but it won't allow me to get quests and turn them in.
